DIY Upcycled Robot Kit

Create your own robot by upcycling!  This kit includes both new and found materials, hand-selected for color coordination and creative fun!*  

Will make 1-5 decorative robots, depending on size and level of accessorization. 

Instructions: 

1. Select 1-3 adhesives from home:  tape, glue dots, liquid school glue, hot glue gun, (depending on user’s age and ability). 
2. Use a soda can, toilet paper roll, small box, or aluminum foil to make a torso. Note: some adhesives work better on cardboard vs cans.
3. In your kit, discover items that can be used as antennae, appendages, wheels, eyes, head, buttons, decoration, compartments, unique abilities, etc.
4. What is your robot’s job? Select a verb or adjective and then add the word “bot” at the end. Now you’ve created and named your robot.
